Start with what buyers ask you. Then say it in public.

A founder is usually the strongest salesperson, yet few buyers outside the meeting room know what they know. PromotEdge builds the name of your founder or CEO through articles, interviews, talks and LinkedIn posts the leader approves.

Buyers, partners and talent then trust the company before the first meeting.

This is part of our public relations (PR) work. It is about one person: what they stand for, where they say it, and what a buyer finds when they search the name.

Here is the honest part. We'd rather be blunt than pleasing: this takes months, not weeks. We don't buy fake awards or paid “40 under 40” lists, and we don't promise followers. You read, change and approve every post.

We begin with the questions buyers ask your founder in meetings. Dealers check the managing director of a manufacturer before they sign. Home buyers trust the promoter of a developer first. Patients trust a chain of clinics and diagnostic centres more when they know the founder behind it. If you are listed, read IPO and listed companies first.

/ 03 Common hurdles

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“A buyer searched for me before our meeting and found almost nothing.”

We check what shows for your name and update your LinkedIn profile and bio. It is the quickest fix.

“I am sharp in meetings, but my posts read like a brochure.”

We write from a recorded conversation, so the words and stories are yours.

“Someone offered me a “40 under 40” spot for a fee.”

We say no. A paid list says you paid. We look for awards judged openly.

“My last ghost-writer sounded like someone else.”

That happens when the writer never talks to the leader. We start with a conversation.

“I have no time for this.”

One conversation a month and a few minutes to approve drafts is usually enough. The more involved you are, the faster it builds.

Change is the only constant.

/ 04 How a name gets built

Listen, say, check, then do more of what works.

The name starts to show in months two to six, so we plan on months. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.

  1. 01

    Week 1: listen

We talk to your sales team and the leader, and list what buyers ask and doubt.

  2. 02

Weeks 1 to 2: choose topics

A topic passes if you know it from real work and buyers care about it.

  3. 03

    Week 3: record and draft

One recorded talk for each topic. We write the first drafts from your words.

  4. 04

    Every time: you approve

You read, change and sign off. Nothing goes out in your name without it.

  5. 05

    Month 2: publish and pitch

Articles go to editors who cover your industry, posts go out, and we pitch events.

  6. 06

Months 3 to 6: read and repeat

We keep what brought messages or invitations and drop what stayed quiet.

More on this

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

In a dealer-led B2B firm, the managing director's name reassures dealers. A D2C (direct-to-customer) founder's story helps sell the pack. A startup founder speaks to investors and talent. A services firm leads with its senior partners.

Who sets the rules in India

PRCAI, the Public Relations Consultants Association of India, was formed by PR firms. It keeps a code of conduct on professionalism and ethics, and runs training and awards. It is a body we follow, not a partner.

  1. Start from buyer questions. A name matters when it answers what buyers worry about. A sheet of the five questions that come up most.
  2. Hold three or four topics, not ten. People remember a leader for a few ideas, said often. A one-page view for each topic.
  3. Draft from a recorded talk. Words in the leader's own voice do not read like a brochure. Drafts you change and approve.
  4. Read the replies at month three. Replies show which topics work. Keep, drop or go deeper.

AI in founder PR: today and next

Today: languages

Google's help page lists Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia and Assamese among Gemini web app languages. That can speed up a first draft of a post for a regional reader. The leader still decides every word.

Next

Our view: drafts will get faster, and a leader's real stories will still be the part that makes a reader trust. Want us to show you how we would use AI on your posts? Ask us.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the costof founder and leadership PR.

We do not publish a price list. A leader's name is built month by month, so most of this work runs on a monthly scope. A starter set of questions, topics, profile and one article can be a one-time job.

What affects the cost

  • How many leaders we work with
  • How many topics, and how many articles and posts a month
  • How much we write, and how much we edit from your drafts
  • Pitching to editors and events, and any entry fees, at actuals
  • How much of the leader's time we can book each month

How we quote

  1. We talk about your leader, your buyers and the questions they ask
  2. We write a scope: topics, articles, posts, events and the monthly note
  3. We send the quote within 2 working days, each cost on its own line

What you get in the quote

  • The buyer questions sheet and the point of view on each topic
  • Articles and posts a month, and rounds of changes
  • Pitching, briefing sheets and the monthly note

Compare quotes on who writes, who approves and what the report shows. Avoid anyone who sells awards or lists.

/ 06 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Straight answers.

  • It helps the person who runs the company become known for something useful. We find out what buyers ask, turn that into a point of view, and put it in articles, interviews, talks and posts the leader approves. Nothing goes out without a yes.

  • Yes, and they should sound like you. We write from a recorded conversation, so the words and stories are yours. You approve every post. If one does not sound like you, we rewrite it and change how we write the next.

  • Usually months. A better profile and bio help within days. A name known in your industry takes a run of articles, posts and talks. By month three we can tell you which topics bring conversations. We confirm the timeline in the quote.

  • We don't buy awards or paid lists. If an award is judged openly and your buyers know it, we help you enter. If it is mainly a payment, we say so and suggest an article or a talk instead. Both build the name.

  • It depends on how many leaders, topics, articles and posts a month, and how much pitching is involved. We quote against a written scope after a first conversation. Ongoing monthly work has a 3-month minimum. After that you can stop with 30 days' notice.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, so we work with you hybrid and remotely, stay in touch every day, and meet you in your city at least once every three months. Calls and video suit the monthly conversation.
