“Brochure, website and dealers each tell a different story.”
A touchpoint check shows which one drifted. Manufacturers often find this.

What buyers think of you, next to what you say.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A brand is what buyers say about it when you are not in the room, and that is rarely what the brochure says. PromotEdge runs brand audits for Indian firms.
It sets what buyers and dealers say beside what you say, so you fix the biggest gap first instead of redoing everything.
Here is what we usually see: the brochure promises one thing, while the dealers and the website say two others.
An audit checks four things: what buyers say, what you say at each touchpoint (website, brochure, dealer board, invoice), how rivals compare, and what a search for your name shows.
It is narrower than a marketing audit, which follows spend and leads. Unsure which you need? Start there. This is part of our brand strategy work.
| Part | What you receive |
|---|---|
| Touchpoint check | 30 places buyers meet you, each marked matching, drifting or off |
| Sales and dealer interviews | What is said at the counter, which often differs from the brochure |
| Buyer interviews | Ten calls to begin: the words buyers use and why they pick or skip you |
| Say-versus-hear table | One page of gaps, each with proof from a call or a touchpoint |
| Rival comparison | Three to five rivals read as a buyer would |
| Search and review check | What a new buyer finds on Google and in reviews, errors marked |
| Fix-first report | Gaps ranked by cost to you, the first fix with an owner, and a one-year re-check |
A new logo or position is separate work, and we say so if the report points there. For the website side, see an audit of your search presence (SEO).
“Brochure, website and dealers each tell a different story.”
A touchpoint check shows which one drifted. Manufacturers often find this.
“We changed the logo and nothing moved.”
An audit finds whether the gap is the look, the message or the proof. If it is the look, branding and identity is the next step.
“Our reviews and search results say things we never wrote.”
Buyers read them before they call. We list what shows up. Property developers see this often, and so do clinics and diagnostic centres with several branches.
“A premium range or a new state is coming.”
Check first whether buyers believe you can charge more. Ten calls cost less than a failed launch.
“Buyers like us, but we are never the first name they ask for.”
Buyer interviews show whether they describe you in your words or in your rivals'.

Five steps. The time depends on how many brands and buyer types are in scope. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.
What you suspect, which brands and buyer types are in scope, and the first 30 touchpoints.
We collect screenshots and dealer-board photos. You send decks and price lists. Then short calls with sales and dealers.
Full-price buyers, lost buyers and people who recommend you.
Rivals and search results go next to your claims. Then we size each gap.
A leadership meeting on the fix-first list. We're professionals, so we'd rather be blunt than pleasing: if the biggest gap is not one we should fix, we say so. A year later we ask the same questions, because what can't be measured can't be achieved. Planning a launch? See go-to-market strategy.
Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.
Deeper reading if you want the research behind the plan.
A dealer-led B2B (business-to-business) firm hears the most from its dealers, so they get the first calls. A D2C (direct-to-customer) brand starts from reviews and search. A franchise checks that outlet twenty looks and speaks like outlet one.
Pick ten buyers: five who pay full price and five who chose someone else. Ask why they picked or skipped you. Put the answers next to the first line of your brochure. Wherever they differ, you have found a gap.
Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode show links to supporting websites. A page must be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet. So what Google's AI says about you starts with what your own pages and listings say.

Our view: buyers will ask AI assistants about you before they call. We already read what an assistant answers about your name and mark the errors. A person still checks each one. Want us to look at yours? Ask us.

No price list. These things move the number.
We do not publish a price list, because one brand and ten brands are very different jobs. The smallest first step is a free 30-minute call with a strategist and a one-page plan, for projects we think we can help.
Compare quotes on one point: will the agency talk to your buyers, or only review your pages from a desk? A desk review shows what you say, not what buyers think.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Anish Basu MallikMarketing Executive at Unimark GroupA brand audit asks what buyers believe about you and whether every touchpoint says the same thing. A marketing audit follows the money: spend by channel, tracking and lead follow-up. Weak leads and no clue why? Start with the marketing audit. Buyers like you but do not ask for you by name? Start here.
Yes. Ask five questions. Do your website, brochure and dealer pitch open with the same promise? Would five buyers describe you as you do? Do your name, logo and colours look the same everywhere? What do your reviews say? Which claims do three rivals also make? Mark each answer fine or gap.
A brand audit works when it changes what you fix first. After you fix the biggest gap, watch enquiries that ask for you by name, searches for your brand and the discount your team gives to close. At the re-check, we ask buyers the same questions again.
About once a year, with the same questions and touchpoint list, so the results compare. Go sooner after a big change, such as a new range, a bought company or a new state. Brands move slowly, so very frequent checks only show noise.
