In short

Schools and institutes spend more each season and still have empty seats. For schools, the parent decides and pays while ads often reach the student, and families are wary of big promises.

PromotEdge, an integrated marketing agency in India, has worked on these problems for schools and institutes. This page shows how. We name no client, and we share results 1-to-1 under NDA.

/ 02 Major challenges

Major challenges in education marketing

Admission teams face these three problems year after year. They come from our education industry page and from reporting on the sector. Under each we say what the work did about it.

Spend rises every season and some seats stay empty.

Buying only in the admission rush is costly, because every institution is bidding at once. How we worked on it: Search work and a website that run all year, with performance marketing judged on admissions enquiries.

For school admissions, the parent decides and pays, and many ads reach only the student.

A parent who never sees the name will not choose it. How we worked on it: Hoardings with newspaper and magazine ads, which reach parents close to home.

Parents are wary of big promises, so trust has to be earned.

Families compare several options and read what others say. Topper photos alone do not settle it. How we worked on it: A logo, brochures and a website that show the institution the same way everywhere, with social media to keep it in view.

/ 04 What we did

What we did for education brands

We ran it as an admissions plan that mixed print, outdoor and digital.

  1. 01

    Start from the admission season

Who decides, when they decide and where they look.

  2. 02

    Set the identity

Logo and brochures, so every piece looks the same.

  3. 03

    Reach parents locally

    Hoardings, newspaper and magazine ads.

  4. 04

    Be found and followed up

Website, search work, social media and performance marketing, judged on admissions enquiries.

/ 05 The work

The work, as a list

  • Logo design
  • Brochures
  • Hoardings
  • Newspaper and magazine ads

  • Search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • Performance marketing
/ 06 One team

How it worked together

Print, outdoor and digital came from one team, so parents met the same institution in the paper, on the road and on the phone.

Common questions

  • No. Under NDA, we cannot pair an institution's name, screens or numbers with the work on a public page. We can go through it with you 1-to-1.

  • Before the rush. Search and website work need time to build, so start them months ahead, then add ads and local print when families begin comparing.
