/ 01 Healthcare social media marketing

Teach in public.Book in private.

In healthcare, the posts that work are the ones that teach, because a worried family trusts the page that explains. For diagnostic centres, clinics, dental clinics and wellness and healthcare businesses, PromotEdge plans explainer videos, answers comments and messages, and sets up WhatsApp booking.

The goal: more people who follow you ask for a booking.

Healthcare is different on social media. You can teach, but you cannot promise a cure. The Drugs and Magic Remedies Act counts every Reel as an ad.

We run this for diagnostic centres, dental clinics and wellness centres. It is part of our healthcare marketing and healthcare digital marketing work.

We do not run promotion or lead generation for hospitals or individual doctors. A patient who chooses a doctor on promotion rather than skill may be put at risk. We do website design and systems work for them.

We also set up the CRM (one place that keeps every enquiry and booking) and monthly reports. AI tools help with first drafts. Search engine optimisation (SEO) has its own healthcare page.

The basics

For healthcare social media

6 items

/ 04 Common blocks

What gets in the wayand the way through.

“Customers compare our price on the booking app, and most bookings come from it.”

Show what the price list hides: who collects the sample and how long reports take. Add a WhatsApp line in your own name as a second door.

“Home collection is our big promise, but people don't know our areas and hours.”

Make it a pinned post and a quick reply with your areas and time slots, and how to prepare.

“Every branch looks like a different company, with its own logo and timings.”

Give all branches one profile style and one reply guide. Keep a shared sheet of timings that one named person per branch updates.

“Bookings sit on a front-desk phone, and enquiries get lost in WhatsApp chats.”

Move bookings to a business WhatsApp number in your name. Let the team share it, and save every enquiry in one CRM.

“Nobody replies to comments, and one angry comment about a bill spread overnight.”

Reply once, in public, within the hour: sorry for the experience, and a named contact. No patient details, ever. The facts move to a private call.

/ 05 How we work

From questionto booked visit.

  1. 01

    1. Start with patient questions

We collect the ten questions patients ask most from your front desk and branches. They become the content plan.

  2. 02

    2. Film your team, with consent

Your team answers on camera in your patients' language. Film on a phone or, for a launch, with our video production team. Your clinical lead checks each clip. Patients appear only with written consent.

  3. 03

    3. Check every post

Your clinical lead and legal team sign off each post. The checklist bars cure claims, medicines linked to a listed condition and copy that says the viewer is ill. Meta also bars promised results in a set time.

  4. 04

    4. Agree reply rules, run WhatsApp

We answer routine questions. Medical ones go to your clinical team and complaints go to customer care. A crisis goes to the owner and legal. Profiles carry one WhatsApp Business link with quick replies and an after-hours chatbot. We message only people who opted in, and only for bookings, never health information.

  5. 05

    5. Count booking requests

Every link and the WhatsApp button carry a source tag. Each request lands in your CRM, marked booked, kept or lost. Our analytics team sets up the monthly report. Small Meta Ads boosts go only to posts that already earned saves.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

Two rules shape every post: who may give health advice, and what an ad may say about the viewer. A worried family trusts a calm explanation first.

Healthcare social media in depth

The rules that matter

ASCI's addendum of 17 August 2023 covers health and nutrition influencers. They must hold a relevant qualification, such as a medical degree, and state it upfront. Meta's ad rules bar ads that assert or imply the viewer has a medical condition. "Do you have diabetes?" is not allowed.

Meta ad rules on personal attributes, read 10 Oct 2026 (https://transparency.meta.com/policies/ad-standards/objectionable-content/privacy-violations-personal-attributes/)

How patients decide

Our view: a worried family looks for a calm explanation before a number. They watch a short video, check the comments and reviews, then message on WhatsApp. They drop out when comments go unanswered, the numbers differ across pages or a video promises too much.

What you can do, and what is not ours

You can ask your lab or clinic lead to answer the ten commonest questions on camera. Keep one phone number everywhere and reply to comments within a day. Medical wording and every consent are yours to approve. We cannot promise followers, and we never show a patient without written consent.

How we would deliver, and why each step

We start with the ten questions patients ask, because content that answers them gets used. We film your team on a phone, because real faces earn trust. We check every post for medical and legal fit, then count booking requests, not likes.

Bodies to know

ASCI: the Advertising Standards Council of India. It describes itself as an independent, voluntary self-regulatory body for fair, honest advertising.

NABL: the accreditation board for laboratories. Its site lists accreditation of medical laboratories under ISO 15189.

NABH: the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers. Its site lists programmes for allopathic and dental clinics.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of healthcare social media.

No price list. These things move the number.

We don't publish a price list. A written quote follows within 2 working days of a 30-minute strategist call. Boost money goes to Meta.

What affects the cost

  • Services and branches. How many each month.
  • Video. Phone clips or planned shoots.
  • Review and replies. Rounds per post, and evening cover.

How we quote

We look at your pages and WhatsApp as a worried family would, then send a written scope you approve.

What you get in the quote

  • The platforms and the videos and posts each month
  • The consent form and review checklist

Monthly managementWe plan, film, post, reply and report. Minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop

A small clinic with a full diary may need only a tidy profile. We'll say so. We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Clinic, lab or wellness business?

Tell us what's not working. We'll show you where the bookings are.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • No. We do not run promotion or lead generation for hospitals or individual doctors. A patient who chooses a doctor on promotion, not skill, may be put at risk. We do website design and systems work for them. Clinics and wellness businesses get our full social media work.

  • Post what a worried family needs: how to prepare for a test, and how home collection works. If a post names a medicine, note the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954. It bars ads that suggest a drug for any of its 51 listed conditions. General guidance, not legal advice.

  • We won't claim to be right for every healthcare business. Ask each agency: who checks posts against advertising rules and drug law? How do you take patient consent? Will the report count booking requests, and will the accounts stay in your name?

  • We don't publish a price list. The cost depends on the services and branches covered and how the videos are filmed. It also depends on the review rounds and reply hours you need. A written quote follows within 2 working days of a 30-minute call.

  • A tidy profile and a WhatsApp booking line can help early. Explainer videos build trust slowly, so they need steady posting. Anyone promising a full diary in a week is selling followers, not patients. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
