Guests who are relaxed rarely sign anything, so the business part has to come first. PromotEdge plans Dehradun events that way. Business on day one, the view in the evening.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A Dehradun event works only when the business part comes before the hills, because relaxed guests rarely sign anything. PromotEdge does event management for dealer meets, launches, conferences and hill offsites, for makers, schools and brands selling in Uttarakhand, so that each event ends with orders to chase.
Dehradun gives an event two settings in one trip. The district's site says the city was declared the "Provisional Capital" of the new state in November 2000. Up the road are the hills guests love. That mix helps, and is also the trap.
So the order desk or the buyer meetings come first, on day one. The hill trip comes after, as the reward.
Since 2015 our servicing team has been based in cities across India, and most planning, design and invites run online, in hybrid mode. We travel in for venue walks and event days, and when a job needs it, a team member works from your venue. Stage, sound, LED screens and branding are delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy, with partner agencies where a job needs them.
Our general method is on the national events and exhibitions page. The city as a whole is on our Dehradun overview.
Scheme talk and an order desk in a Dehradun hall. Then, if the budget allows, an evening in Mussoorie for dealers who hit their target.
02For makers at Selaqui, an estate run by SIIDCUL, the state's industrial body: opening day, plant walk, supplier meet.
03Reveals, demos and sampling at Pacific Mall or a mall near your buyers, with written permission.
04For schools, institutes and firms: registration, sessions and a run sheet (the minute-by-minute plan).

What can't be measured can't be achieved.
Seven local facts that move a date, a venue or a guest list. One is here, and six are in the fold below.
1. Delhi guests can drive up for the day. The government says the 213 km Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor cuts the trip from over six hours to about 2.5 hours. Its notice set the opening for 14 April 2026. So partners can come for a one-day meet, or you can meet them in Delhi NCR.
Five more local facts, each with the source: the investors' summit, the stadium, the hills, the Jhanda Mela and the banner rules.
2. Flyers land 20 km out. Dehradun airport handled 18,71,115 passengers in 2025-26, all on domestic flights, says the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The district puts Jolly Grant 20 km from the city centre, a 40 to 45 minute taxi ride. We time pick-ups to each flight.
3. The state holds its big meetings here. The Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit ran on 8 and 9 December 2023 at the Forest Research Institute (FRI). It produced 1,779 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth ₹3,57,693 crore. An MoU is a signed promise to invest, not money spent. In July 2025 the Chief Minister said ₹1 lakh crore had been realised, PTI reported. New factories need opening days and supplier meets.
4. A stadium that has held 25,000. The 38th National Games opened at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on 28 January 2025, before a crowd of 25,000, reported The Bridge. Few firms need a stadium. Big public events there let a brand sponsor, sample or take a stall (see sports marketing).
5. The hills are close, and so are the tourists. The district lists Mussoorie, 38 km away, along with Chakrata and Rishikesh, as tourist places in Dehradun district. The state's tourism department counted 67,35,071 visitors to Dehradun in 2025 (ETV Bharat). So we book rooms early.
6. March belongs to the Jhanda Mela. The fair is held every year at the Guru Ram Rai Darbar, on the fifth day after Holi. Devotees come from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. We keep dealer meets away from the Darbar that week.
7. Banners need permission. The city's 2009 advertisement bylaws, as The Tribune reported them, barred hoardings within 25 metres of roundabouts, on house rooftops and in three named parks. In November 2017 the civic body removed about 6,000 hoardings, posters and banners. The rules date from 2009 and 2017, so we check the current ones with the municipal corporation first.
Dehradun has a big cricket stadium and a large mall, and Mussoorie is 38 km away. Match the event to the place, like a launch at the mall or an offsite in the hills. Keep your date clear of Jhanda Mela week in March.

Events are also content. Copied exactly from our current website, about a reel, not a Dehradun event.
“I have seen the first cut of the reel which they shot the first day, and they gave us on the morning of the second day. … This is just fabulous and the commitment they have shown.”

The first two steps are here. The other four, and advice on starting small, are in the fold below.
On a video call we agree what counts: orders, signed dealers or booked meetings.
A hotel hall, a Mussoorie resort, your Selaqui plant or a mall. Where guests start from decides it.
Steps 3 to 6: the date check, the venue walk, the invites and the event day.
We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck. New to Uttarakhand? Test small. One dealer evening in Dehradun costs far less than a two-day hill meet. Count the orders, then scale.
We test it against Jhanda Mela week and any big public event at the stadium.
We fly into Jolly Grant and walk it with you. Then the stage plan, run sheet and permissions.
Invites by WhatsApp, email and phone. Airport cars, and coaches for Delhi guests.
Set-up, rehearsal, event. A week later: every name, the orders and the cost per lead, meaning the average spend behind each serious enquiry.
No price list. These things move the number.
No price list here, on purpose. A first call tells us the guests, the place and the goal. Then we price each line of a written scope. Venue, food and travel come at the supplier's rate, approved first.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| One event | A single meet, launch or conference, our work and production on separate lines; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| City day, hill evening | Business in Dehradun and a reward evening in the hills, as one plan |
| Uttarakhand year plan | A spring dealer meet and an autumn launch, with designs reused |
Four more things that move the quote, and what to check when you compare quotes.
The week. Jhanda Mela week, and hotels shared with tourists.
Stage and screens. LED walls, sound, light and the set-up hours the venue allows.
Signs outside. Written permission first. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Our travel. Flights and stay for the venue walk and event days.
Comparing quotes? Look for hill transfers, airport pick-ups, night set-up hours and GST. A quote without them is not cheaper, only shorter.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. An in-house team of 65+ keeps in touch every day. We visit Dehradun at least once every three months, as well as for venue walks and event days. When a job needs it, a team member works from your venue.
Stage, sound, LED screens, branding and stall builds are delivered through the same partner, with partner agencies where a job needs them. Before you sign, you will know which planner owns the run sheet and the budget. Tell us your venue and guest count, and we send a written quote within 2 working days.
Yes, by road. The 213 km corridor brings the trip to about 2.5 hours, the government says. Start late morning, finish by early evening, and most guests can head home the same night. Send us the guest list and the date, and we plan the day around the road time.
Hold the business part where it is easiest to reach, usually Dehradun. A Mussoorie evening adds transfers and hotel nights, so we offer it as a reward for dealers who hit a target. Unsure? Run one city meet first. Tell us how many dealers you expect, and we weigh both options with you.
Yes. Our team plans the run sheet, and our language partners write the anchor script and invites. They work in Hindi, English, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more. Hindi is Uttarakhand's official language, and in 2010 Sanskrit became its second one. A dealer meet here will often work better in Hindi.
We'd rather show you results than a nice presentation. Ask every company three things, us included. Who runs the floor on event day? Can you see a past event that produced orders, not only photos? What does the quote leave out? Go with the clearest answers.
