Early-Stage Struggles

The Indian infrastructure industry is booming at a very fast pace in rural and semi-urban areas. With the rise in the infrastructure industry, the demand for construction machinery is also increasing. But for a new platform like desi Machines there are certain challenges that need to overcome.

When we have onboarded Desi Machines, they are facing certain challenges, which are as follows:

  • There are multiple platforms which have been in the market for a long time that provide similar services.
  • Competing with established brands for SEO rankings and marketplace visibility requires long-term investment in technical SEO, content marketing, and backlinks.
  • The brand is very much new and needed a strong SEO approach to make it appear in the google search.

From the colour palette to the name, we tried to connect with Indian contractors and tried to give it a Desi touch.

Website and Tech

Our first step after the Research and Development part is to create a website and bring the presence of Desi Machines. Internet access has reached Tier 4 and Tier 5 cities, enabling rural and semi-urban contractors to research online. Slowly and gradually, the contractors are shifting from blind trust to informed purchase decisions. 

Desi Machines needed a website that contains vast information on construction equipment, which educates the buyer for an informed decision, mirroring e-commerce behavior in B2C sectors. 

We helped them build a trusted platform that offers clear info, fair prices, and easy financing. The UI/UX design was made adhering to the brand colour palette, eye-catching, and easily navigable. The website is made in WordPress by a set of skilled developers and is updated regularly.

SEO

We have assigned a team of skilled SEO personnel who are continuously looking after the digital presence of Desi Machines. The platform is stuffed with information, and keywords are aptly positioned with meta titles and meta descriptions so that the platforms make it to the top very quickly. Listing of models, collaborating with OEMs, and blogs targeting high-intent, category-specific keywords to drive organic traffic optimize the ranking of the platform. 

The result is that some products are already ranking on Google’s first page. While the clicks are still low, search impressions are building steadily. The on-page and off-page blogs are placed correctly to increase the overall ranking. We are focusing on digital PR by targeting trade and industry publications like Construction World and Equipment India.

SMO

An SMO campaign was launched with the clear objective of targeting Tier 2 to Tier 5 cities in India. Content was made keeping the platform specifications in mind, educating users about different machines, sharing real-life use cases, and presenting comparison visuals to simplify the decision-making. Explainer videos and visual content were also developed to drive engagement and describe the benefits of the machines smoothly. 

In addition to organic campaigns, we ran several targeted performance marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to build awareness and produce quality leads. Trust-building and brand visibility improvement were achieved through this approach, and Desi Machines was firmly positioned as a trusted source for construction equipment buyers in India’s non-metro regions.
