Social Media Strategist

Social media strategist are experts in managing online communities. They understand how to identify target users who might be interested in a particular product or service, and detail ways for businesses to reach those users.

One must have proven experience of devising and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns, have a high degree of understanding of social media. Your role will be to create, develop and manage campaigns for customers and increase traffic, interaction and revenue via social media. You will need to assess strategies currently in place for existing clients and to recommend new or amended campaigns to help grow brand awareness, increase traffic, improve return on investment and grow the various social media properties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Suggest new ideas/campaigns for brands.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic for all Clients
  • Managing social presence and creating engaged communities across channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google, Quora, YouTube, StumbleUpon, etc.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • To provide strategic social media campaigns for clients (all aspects including creating, tracking, technical setup, blogger outreach, seeding, structure, delivery and results analysis)
  • Constantly communicate project status to client contact and actively hand hold the client on the progress of work.
  • To ensure social search is fully integrated to the overall digital marketing campaign
  • Continuously monitor all KPI’s and report them to client on weekly and monthly basis

Skills Required

  • Excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way
  • Understand technicality of implementing ideas based on trends
  • Not just broadcasting, but engaging with the online community
  • Curiosity and willingness to try new tools and platforms
  • Being up-to-date on all social tools and trends
  • Interact with various stakeholders within the company to execute the idea/strategy
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Industry: Digital Marketing/Creative/ Marketing Agency
  • Salary: As per experience
