Having worked with over 200+ brands all across the country, we at PromotEdge are immensely proud and elated to bag the digital mandate for team Kolkata Thunderbolts who are debuting in the first season of Prime Volleyball League. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.

The RuPay Prime Volleyball League is a newly-formed volleyball league in the country that provides a fantastic platform to the younger talent in the league to showcase their skills. Modelled on the style of the immensely popular Indian Premier League, the volleyball tournament comes with the vision of popularising the sport in the country.

Seven teams will be fighting for honours this time — Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Ahmedabad Defenders, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes and the Calcutta franchise — Kolkata Thunderbolts. The Kolkata Thunderbolts team consists of some of prominent national and international talents like Ashwal Rai (currently the No. 1 volleyball player in the country), Hari Prasad, Ian Satterfield and Matthew August.

As part of its new mandate, PromotEdge is providing the newly-formed team with end-to-end branding services, right from positioning the brand to creating their brand identity and assets by amplifying their brand voice, creating digital content to reach out to the target audience, developing their website and by providing various other strategic and creative solutions to achieve the desired marketing objectives of the team, and create a fan base for the same.
